This image is an antique copperplate print from March 1818, featuring "The New Inn, Sherborne, Dorset".  Subject: The print depicts the New Inn, a major coaching inn built in 1483 by Abbot Ramsam.  Artist: The engraving was created by J. B. Knight in 1815.  Publication: It was published in The Gentleman's Magazine in March 1818.  Fate: The building shown was demolished in 1842.
