DESCRIPTION: This 19th century print depicts the landing of William III of Orange at Torbay (actually Brixham) on November 5, 1688, which marked the structural beginning of the Glorious Revolution, a turning point that fundamentally reshaped both the domestic governance and national identity of Britain.
